"Marrying him was like finding the missing piece of my heart!"
"Saying 'I do' to her was pure joy!"
Giovanna & Emerson travelled from Washinghton DC - USA, to Lake Como to have their luxurious Destination Wedding.
The ceremony and reception were both held at Villa Geno. After the ceremony the two took a speedboat ride around the lake to enjoy the view at the best hour for photographs and video.
They then had their dinner reception and dancing under the marquee on the garden of Villa Geno.

The ceremony was held in the garden right by the lake of Villa Geno. A beautiful and romantic spot to exchange their vows and love to one another. All the guests arrived by boat. Emerson arrived with his men on a wooden Venetian boat and they were all welcomed by the sweet melodies of their 2 friends who played the violin.
Giovanna arrived with her beautiful bridesmaids, all dressed in burgundy, and walked to the aisle by her mothers side. During the ceremony they exchanged their love to one another by having a sand ritual union. They had their own priest who travelled from the United States just so that he could marry this gorgeous couple.
The aperitf and dinner were held at Villa Geno.
They had a beautiful, traditional Italian aperitif in the garden followed by a dinner reception under the marquee filled with fairylights and crystal chandelliers. In the middle of the room they had a dance floor with their initials and right on top, had a big chandelliers made of flowers by the tallented Barbara Botta.
All the details were well thought & chosen. Gold, whites and creams were the major colours. The bride and groom table was golden glass and had a gorgeous centrepiece in the middle and around was filled with lots of candles.
The main flowers were roses, baby breath & orchids. Outdoor in the garden area, we set a cigar & Wiskey corner with personlised Game of Thrones cigars with the couples' names. The perfect corner to relax was also used as a set/ photobooth corner for fun and unique photographs to leave for the couple's guestbook.
The wedding cake was absolutely dreamy. A 3 tier cake decorated with real flowers and a golden letter in the middle. As they cut the cake to the song 'Forever Young' fire fountains began to sparkle behind them creating an even more dreamy atmosphere.
They then danced like there was no tomorrow!
A fun & elegant Destination Wedding in Lake Como.
Upon our first conversation with Zaira, we immediately knew that she was the right wedding planner for us. Planning a Lake Como destination wedding from Washington, DC had the potential to be quite daunting, however, Zaira made sure the planning process went as smoothly as possible and we are absolutely thrilled with the day-of results. Zaira has over a decade of wedding planning experience in the Lake Como area and she works with her clients one-on-one to make sure that each client's wedding vision is properly executed. Despite the time difference, Zaira's responses to our questions/concerns were always timely and she made herself available for video conferences as needed. Zaira also has established relationships with the best vendors on the Lake and every single one of her recommendations (photographer, videographer, makeup, florist) exceeded our expectations. Her attention to detail is impeccable - making sure we're on schedule with selecting the various vendors, reviewing invoices for accuracy, asking the questions we forget (or didn't know) to ask of each vendor, the list seems endless. Our wedding day was better than we could have imagined and we certainly have Zaira to thank for her tireless work on our behalf. Our guests cannot stop talking about how amazing Zaira was and how dedicated she was to us as a couple. She truly cares about her clients and loves her work. We cannot thank her enough for the best day of our lives.
